Safety Requirements

Your safety is our top priority. Please review the following rules and guidelines to help ensure a safe, fun, and enjoyable Jet Ski or pontoon boat experience. All riders and passengers are required to comply with these requirements.

Arrival Time

SJ Watersports | Rules

All riders are required to arrive at least 30 minutes prior to their scheduled rental time to complete a mandatory safety briefing, review instructions, and fill out all necessary paperwork.

Age & ID
Requirements

SJ Watersports | ID

You must be at least 18 years old to rent and operate one of our  rentals. All riders and passengers are required to present a valid government-issued ID showing both address and date of birth.

Boater’s License
(Florida Law)

SJ Watersports | Boater's Insurance

If born after January 1, 1988, you need a state-issued boater’s license to operate one of our rentals. Get one at takemyboattest.com and bring a screenshot or printout for verification.

Safety Gear

SJ Watersports | Life Vest

Life vests are provided with every one of our rentals and are a required part of our safety protocol; they must be properly secured and worn at all times by both operators and passengers while on the water.
